Write the following ratios in their simplest form.

1. 3:15
2. 8:20
3. 20:15
4. 45:81
5. 96:88
6. I have 16 shirts and 20 pairs of trousers in my wardrobe. What is the ratio of shirts to trousers?
7. There are 60 pupils in a class and 18 are boys. What is the ratio of girls to boys?

The ratio of cows to sheep in a field is 5:6. Answer the following.

8. If there are 10 cows, how many sheep are there?
9. If there are 66 sheep, how many cows are there?
10. If there are 99 animals, how many of each are there? Write the answer as a ratio cows:sheep.
